Job: Lecturers/Senior Lecturers in Law (Education and Research) – University of Exeter (DL: 23.08)

ABOUT THE LAW SCHOOL: September sees the launch of the Law Schools innovative new curriculum offering a unique blend of theory and practice. Building on our success in REF 2014 we are also entering an exciting period of research; ranked 19th overall, the School was the third most improved Law School since the RAE 2008, with 85% of our research activity, including our wider impact, classified as world-leading or internationally excellent. We look to build on this robust base of top quality outputs and impact, supported by external funding, for the REF 2020, centered on our key strengths of Family Law, Legal History, European Law, International Law, Commercial Law and Science, Culture and the Law.

JOB DESCRIPTION: These posts will play a significant role in further enhancing the academic profile of Exeter Law School. The successful applicant will have an independent research programme, appropriate to the post, in an area which will enhance our existing research groupings (http://socialsciences.exeter.ac.uk/law/research). Although these posts are not linked to any particular area of law, it will be an advantage if candidates can offer teaching in one or more of the following areas: Property Law, Criminal Law, Contract Law, Family Law, EU Law, Company Law, Commercial Law, Tort Law and/or Intellectual Property Law.
